Avista Resort

Right from the beginning, our stay was a pleasure. The gentleman in the parking garage helped guide us to the right place. The woman checking us in was fabulous, very helpful and kind. The room was spacious, clean and right on the beach with an ocean view. We would stay here again, and the convenience of eating on site was so helpful. Parking is across the street so that was a minor inconvenience. We booked with a AAA discount through AAA but then inadvertently canceled it - the reservation staff was able to find the reservation and reinstate it just hours before we arrived. Highly recommend Avista Resort!

Decent hotel for the money. My biggest issue is I reserved an oceanview room and was given a parking lot view with a sliver of the ocean. Was told they were booked, which i understood, but when I pay for an oceanview room, that is what I should get. Our entire group paid the same amount for our rooms and I am the only one staring at a parking lot view 12 floors below everyone else. Pool is nice. Lounge is nice, but pricey.

The room had lots of space and was comfortable. The bathroom was huge with a huge tub/shower combo. The tub was not a jetted tub. The place was very clean. The staff were absolutely wonderful! All were helpful and extremely friendly. |Always easy and smooth. My daughter stated that it felt like you were on a cruise ship but on land. The atmosphere was bright and cheery. We could celebrate the New Year and not have to worry about driving. I love everything about the resort, but it was a bit pricey. They did allow us to switch rooms since we weren't comfortable with the room; other than that nothing was really added to our stay. The noise level of the property was quiet especially at night. It would be nice to have the breakfast buffet as complementary. The upkeep was great!

We had a wonderful time at Avista! The staff was super friendly and always willing to help. This is a place you could stay and never have to leave. There is an excellent restaurant on site and an inside bar as well as one out by the pool. The indoor and outdoor pools, lazy rivers, and hot tubs were well-maintained and clean. The location is also convenient to other restaurants, shops, and yummy icecream and Italian ice. We will definitely be staying again in the future. ❤️

Had a wonderful condo for the month of February. Great oceanfront view. Clean, and very well kept. Excellent staff from the bellmen, maintenance, restaurant, front desk, housekeeping, to everyone else. Excellent response time to any concerns. Met lots of new friends and have already reserved for February 2027.
