Avila Lighthouse Suites

I made a reservation on their website and somehow it says I’ve have made a reservation from a third-party website. Then they could not change my Reservation because I made a reservation for four nights, but I only wanted to make it for three. They’re saying that I have to contact Expedia who I did not make the reservation through. I made it through their private website. No one could help me at the front so they won’t change my reservation. They will not refund me for the last night even though I’m giving them plenty of notice. I bought a room Ocean view and they give me a partial ocean view. I’ve stayed here multiple times. I’m from the area. They should be accommodating me. And they don’t.

Truly a perfect location if you want a fun beach vacay! And huge shout out to Guest Services Manager, Laura Manning, who made the stay extra great for providing excellent customer service. I had a different expectation for fees and she handled it professionally and with a 'customer first' feel. I will absolutely be back and recommend to others thanks to this great interaction!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our weekend at Avila Lighthouse Suites, along with our dog. The checkin was quick and easy, our dog even received a goodie bag with treats! Our room was great, with a fantastic view of the ocean, very spacious and clean. My husband loved the pillows on the bed, they were so comfy. Avila Beach is a great, sleepy beach town and was great for us to relax and unwind.

Positive: The pool and hot tub areas were right in the center and open to the beach view. Security gates allow direct access from the pool to the beach area and local amenities. Secure parking. Good discounts on bike rentals and such. Negative: The thermostat in room 106 didn’t work very well and took a while for AC to kick in. It can get pretty warm in the afternoon and AC would be nice to come back to I wish they were more handicap spaces in garage.

Clean, nice room with a peek-a-boo view of the ocean and a nice balcony overlooking the swimming pool. Walking distance to the boardwalk with shops and restaurants + the sand and water. Stay includes admission to the small aquarium next door. Great for the kids!
