Avalon Motel

Bed bug bites on my legs , tvs don't work make you pay a key deposit. Bathroom wall is 5 inches from your face when you sit on toilet. And they charge 65.00 a nite wow horrible.

Bob and his wife (managers) were very kind and compassionate! Bob worked very hard at keeping Riff Raff off of the property. Carla and Darla (housekeepers) even though Darla was nursing an injury was amazing and very attentive to everything I needed and they both were very good at keeping the place clean! There are many families there and they all include me like family. I will always appreciate the Avalon Motel! very nostalgic part of Fort Worth with an original water tower! Very hot water at all times(get it hot in sink 1st) which I have had a hard time finding at other small motels! some units have garages as well!

Thought it was a little expensive for what we got. $65 it was actually 67 or 68 n some change but I guess he didn't have the change so only charged us 65. The bed was actually comfortable but it would have been nice to have a couple of pillows for each of us instead of one that had no firmness to it. There was only half a roll if 1 ply toilet paper so we ran out about an hour before checkout. It could have been cleaner in my opinion. The shower curtain was pretty gross and no stopper for the tub. End up running out of hit water 😞... No fridge or microwave in the room and no washer n dryer on the premisses. AND as if we didn't know, the owner came banging or knocking hard on the door about 10:35 or 40 to let us know it was "almost that time" All in all I will not spend my money there again

It doesn't have many amenities to offer but my husband and I are very appreciative of the room it's not the cheapest for what it offers but you don't have to put a deposit down and you pay cash but you come anytime they've never turned us away when we needed room for the night.

Location of jacksboro hey in fort worth. Rooms appear remodel in progress. Hard wood floors and flat screen TVs with a rather good selection of channels. Bathrooms were clean soap was provided. Clean towels. Bed large and soft. Will be returning.
