This boat launch is terrible. Whoever put this dock in should lose their job. The dock sits way too high and you cannot just tie up to it and park your vehicle, your boat windshield will likely be busted up before you get back. It’d be one thing if it was free, but you have to pay $5 for this monstrosity. I wish this ramp was in better shape as it is one of the closest to my house.
Nice Federal Forest boat launch. One thing people should be aware of the current in the main stream is quite strong here as it is just a half mile south of the dam. The launch is sheltered but get 20 feet out the current will take you.
Great getaway from the Big Ctiy.
A beautiful place camp and fish!
