Audubon Acres RV Park

What a great surprise to find such a peaceful spot near our travel route! The owner, Joe, was super friendly and helped us get into an overflow spot, which in my opinion is the best spot of them all. This place is right up there with the best Harvest Host spots we’ve ever visited. And Jack ( the horse) let us feed him a few carrots this morning. We may even change our return route to come back here again in the future.

Stumbled upon this RV place while roaming around Southern Louisiana, the Palmetto State Park was full,they recommended this RV park. Took a drive by,the place is small(only a few sites) they were all full. The campers called the owner and he let us boondock for the nite. Very quiet,very rural,very nice little spot. Great chin wag with the other campers over coffee in the morning and off we went. Big Thank You to the owner for accommodating a solo traveler. Greg New Brunswick CA

Stumbled across this place through the Harvest Host app. Great place to unwind and relax. It had all the necessary hookups for our large coach with no extra frills, quiet and peaceful with just a handful of spaces. 15 minutes from anything you might need in town and just a short drive to Avery Island if you want to spice up your day. Joe was very accommodating and provided some helpful directions.It was a welcome retreat after nearly 2 months away from home. We’d definitely stay again! (Cash or check preferred)

This is a quiet country location. Beautiful fields all around and plenty of space for recreation and dog play. Owner Joe Tessier is super accommodating and easy to deal with.

The owner Joe was super friendly and helpful. Place was simple and quaint, nothing special but had everything you need ~ power/water/sewer/trash. Was across from a big pasture so you got beautiful sunsets and cow friends. Only issue was the road to get there had SUPER low big tree branches, that was hard and stressful and two of them were just inches away from our rig, we suggest taking pleasant Dr to Audubon instead of cherry rd to Audubon. Attached in photo is the routes we suggest to use and avoid, White is good, Red is bad with very low trees and bumpy road and very narrow with ditches on both sides
