Aspen Cabins

My husband and I were celebrating our 32nd wedding anniversary with a fishing trip to the Lake of the Arbuckles. Our cabin was absolutely perfect! It was very clean and had everything we needed. It was a great location, also. My only suggestion would be for them to have two recliners rather than just one. We had a great time!

We stayed here for a week while visiting our daughter and enjoyed the clean, comfortable cabin with full kitchen and bath, flat screen tv and front and back porch. Ours was one of five cabins and had a queen size bed as well as a pull out sofa. There were plenty of towels and kitchen gear. There was a large playground area with swings, climbing equipment, basketball nets, soccer balls, slides, trucks etc. for kids of all ages as well as multiple fire rings, gliders and picnic tables for adults. Each cabin has its own bbq but there are additional larger smokers and bbqs scattered about the grounds which were very neat and clean. My wife and I spent two nights here. It is a very clean place! The cabins are stocked with everything you need to cook while there. Small grill right outside the door. The owners are very nice. We had a small issue and they were there right away to address the issue. Close to walking trails, lake, Chickasaw Cultural Center, and restaurants. Great place to just get away and unwind. No wifi so was nice to go off the grid. Excited to go back!!

We wanted to explore the area but it's too hot to camp so we reserved a small cabin at Aspen Cabins. Very cute little 1 room (plus a bathroom) cabin. Queen bed with a fold out futon, dining table for 4 and a recliner. Nice clean bathroom. Kitchen area had pots and pans, plenty of dishes and silverware. Coffee maker with coffee, microwave and stove/oven. Nice cold a/c. The best part were the porches. The back porch had 2 rockers and 2 other comfortable patio chairs. I saw lots of song birds, a wild turkey momma with her 6 babies, a couple of deer and LOTS of stars. Front porch has 2 chairs, a clothes line and a grill. The cabin was immaculate. Called to book May 19th, 2021 to book a cabin spent 10min on the phone with her for July 23rd. 3 days before we are supposed to go, I call to check on the cabin and the lady tells me she didn't write it down couldn't even recall talking to me. I like it still on my call log and what do you mean you didn't write it down? So we didn't have a cabin, WHAT THE HECK!!!!!!
