Arrowhead Lodge

We’ve been coming for many years, however, it’s been a few years since our last visit. The original owners were amazing! This new group are horrible! We got a text stating our room was ready and we could check in. Once we opened the door, you could tell someone was in there. The beds were messy, shaved hair in the sink and then my daughter almost fell off the porch because one of the pavers wasn’t even “glued” down. The managing group has not put any money into the upkeep or repairing things to this place which is so sad.

My mom and I stayed here. Nice size room for the two of us. No air conditioner as expected. Would have been nice to have had a box fan to put in the window. We improvised and it worked. I would stay here again. It was nice that it was off of the main street. The lady that owns/runs it was very nice.

These rooms are basic as it gets. Our unit had mushy floors, sagging shower pan, and very lumpy beds. I felt a piercing pain the first night while sleeping and found blood spots on the sheet the next morning. The best I could tell was possibly a bed spring stabbed me. Location is not fantastic but it is isolated. This will do if nothing else is available but during the summer it might be ideal to find somewhere with air conditioning.

We arrived late, which we had planned for since we were in contact with the vacation rental company beforehand. However, when we got there, the check-in paperwork was not where they said it would be. It turned out the paperwork was actually posted on a bulletin board in town—something we had no idea about. This made the check-in process confusing and stressful. When we finally found the paperwork, the numbers on it weren’t clearly written, and we panicked that we wouldn’t be able to get into our room. Thankfully, when we called the emergency number from one of the texts they sent, a woman promptly answered and provided the correct code. Still, it was nerve-wracking not knowing where the paperwork was, as the instructions never specified that it was in town and not at the lodge itself. The

Stayed here and the maintenance guy left our front door wide open and our dog ran away, They didn’t notify us till 1 hr later. They also left us to search for our dog ourselves we didn’t find him until 1AM! It was such an inconvenience. Our sink was clogged and the maintenance guy left our floor flooded we had to clean the mess ourselves. My entire family is camped here more than half of us rented the place out and WE WILL NEVER COME BACK AGAIN! This was by far the worst experience we have ever had ANYWHERE! I called to hopefully get some stuff resolved and was treated like complete trash. So WE HOPE EVERYONE SEES THIS AND DOES NOT RENT FROM THIS PLACE!!!
