Arnold Meadowmont Lodge

After reading a number of very positive reviews online, I called the Lodge and spoke with Heather (the owner) about booking a quiet room. She was very helpful and accommodating, and she reserved room #9 for me which worked out perfectly. The room was clean and comfortable, and noise was not a problem. Fay, who was at the front desk when I arrived, was very nice and informative, as well, and provided great service. ||The location worked well for both grocery needs (Big Tree Market in Arnold) and X-C skiing at Bear Valley (about 35 minutes farther north), and the price was reasonable. ||All in all, it was a great stay. I was very impressed by Heather's and Fay's hospitality. I highly recommend!

We stayed at Arnold Meadowmont Lodge for two nights over the President’s Day long weekend, and it was perfect for our little family of three. Our room was very clean, cozy, and the bed was incredibly comfortable after long days in the snow. The location made everything easy — especially being just minutes from the local supermarket. Heather was so warm and welcoming, and a special highlight for our 7‑year‑old was getting to pet Bear, the sweetest lodge dog. It made the stay feel even more homey and memorable. Highly recommend for families looking for a clean, comfortable, and friendly place to stay in Arnold.

Meadowmont Lodge in Arnold was truly an amazing place to stay — we honestly couldn’t have chosen a better spot. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed. The woman at the front desk greeted us right away with such genuine kindness and warmth. She was incredibly sweet, helpful, and attentive throughout our entire stay. My kids absolutely loved stopping by to talk with her — she made them feel so special and at home. Our room was clean, cozy, and thoughtfully set up with everything we needed. Had a lovely time! My son (age 5) and I stayed. Relatively easy drive to Bear Valley for skiing. I brought my Apple TV. WiFi was strong enough for us to use the Apple TV to watch movies at night. Clean and comfortable. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Meadowmont Lodge is a great place to stay for Bear Valley, Big Trees and beyond. Rooms are clean, cozy, and warm. The manager is very friendly and accommodating. The lodge is within walking distance of the grocery store and market. The room prices are reasonable. I couldn't ask for more.
