Arlor Haven Campground

Wonderful Host. Great site right next to the St Lawrence Seaway in historic Mariatown. Campsite with picnic table, electricity and water services. Site level and road paved ... old highway 2 section before seaway was built. Site was right beside the water. Washrooms clean, shower had great hot water. Beautiful camp ground.

We found this lovely small mature and quiet campground by accident. Boy, what a lovely place! Right down literally on the bank of the St. Lawrence seaway. Ships going past all day. People that run it, are excellent and good Christians. We have stayed there twice and we could not have been happier. You can literally take your chair and sit at the side of the river, with your feet in it, while large freighters go by, less than 300 ft away. Iroquois locks is only 10 miles away and the nice wee town of Morrisburg is less than 5 minutes away. We actually thought about not telling anyone about it, it's so nice!

This is a wonderful little trailer park just outside of Morrisburg, ON. It's been in the same family for more than 60 years! It's very clean, quiet and 'well established' with less than a half dozen overnight rental spaces. It's the perfect spot for a relaxing weekend of tranquility and watching the ocean liners come through the St. Lawrence channel. A true gem! BUT (and there's always a bit with my reviews) if you're looking for an active community with tons of things to do onsite, this is not the place for you!!||There is no little store, you must drive in to town (3 mins) for what you need. There isn't a sandy beach - the waterfront is swimable but bring your water shoes for the rocky entry! Right on the St. Lawrence! Small and quiet campground. The lots are level and are a good size. Super clean washrooms and showers. The seasonal campers are friendly and helpful. The kindest, friendliest owner we have ever met.
