Very nice campground. Many cool spots with lots of trees and fire pits. It was empty this past week except for us. Only downside is it is near the road so you will hear road traffic.

Lovely campground. Set up in the dark but still was easy to find our way around. Not super busy on friday but lots of folks showed up saturday midday. Potable water is in the upper campsite at the back by the gate for the group site. Pit toilets were well maintained and just a little smelly at the sites when a strong breeze came through.

First, if you have a long vehicle or are towing, you might NOT want to head up the Coronado Nat'l Forest road. It's extremely tight, with a lot of switchbacks. The first hint should have been where, on our map, it said the road it closed in winter. Second, the campground is completely surrounded by the road. It's a small campground, but does have pit toilets. In the upper part of the campground, you can get water. No electric, though. We would have liked to have gone further up the road, but not in our rig. Lots of history up there.

Nice little campground. Good spots with lots of trees and fire pits. Couple vault toilets too that were nice and clean. This area is a fee area (lol). The reason I laugh at that is because there’s no camp host here. Just pull in pick your spot and you’re good to go. I didn’t pay the fee and no one kicked me out, nor bothered me, or even looked my direction honestly. This camp ground is cold tho. Very brisk during the day and down right cold at night. A little bit too cold for my taste. I prefer days in the 80/90 and nights around 60. It only reached 66 during the day here, and was windy. I visited mid may There’s tons of shade and that’s why it made it a little to cold honestly. Would have been better with more sun or waiting a few months. This is a nice quiet campground tho.
