Aqua Marine Hotel

Very accommodating and got me into a room on short notice when other major locations were booked up. The kitchen, dining area, and bathroom were spacious and comfortable! Mattress and nightstand plugin for devices situation could be upgraded but was acceptable. Located centrally, easy parking, and access to great restaurants.

Clean room with lots of space. Good communication from manager. Plenty of amenities. A little noisy outside, since it's right in town, but a good place to stay nonetheless.

We booked a stay and couldn't find the hotel after arriving in Kodiak - there were no images of the entrance, but we did notice a building under renovation behind the shopping center. We tried calling but were sent to a generic voicemail box twice - thinking we had been scammed and wanting to get settled after travel, we booked another hotel. The hotel manager then called and very rudely told us no one else had ever had a hard time finding the place and that we would not be getting any money back for our booking. Understanding that we would be charged we then suggested that for future guests they add more clear instructions to find the place, and she very rudely said it was our fault again. Totally unnecessary rudeness and an unpleasant welcome to Kodiak.
