Apple Jack's 21 Cabins RV Campground

Campground was grown up with weeds. We were swarmed with gnats as soon as we exited our vehicle. Someone else was in our camp spot when we arrived because the electricity didn't work in their spot. Unable to reach management. Shower/bathrooms were disgusting. Shower flooded the entire room. Overall terrible experience at this campground.

From beginning to end was not easy to deal with. Hard to get anyone to return your phone call. Initially when I made reservation the older lady said pay upon arrival. Spoke again to ask if I can check in early, they said not a problem. One week before, they call saying we HAVE to pay for camping immediately. Seemed sketchy but did it anyways. Confirmed an early check in, again. They were supposed to send me a receipt and map of campground. Never received it. Upon arrival there are no signs to show you where to check in. Campsite number missing. Spoke w another couple, their standard size RV was struggling to fit in their space, they too could find no employees. No one answering phone so I texted. Got a rude response saying we are early, check in at 3. Person will not answer phone calls to

Don’t book with them. they basically aren’t even in business pull up and both gates are closed. come to find out they have no showers or bathroom, for a camper that doesn’t have either we can not spend 3 nights here. Tried to email to get my $190 back but nothing. Don’t suggest!!

Beautiful place! Rented a beautiful 4 bedroom cabin that was absolutely perfect for the 4 couples in our party. Very close to the river and the hosts Dean and Erma are amazing! They are just opening things up and if we needed anything they provided it for us. We are already planning to return next year and hope to stay longer!!! Thanks Apple Jacks 21!!

We stayed here over labor day 2021. We had booked sites months in advance. When we got here our sites were no longer available due to permanent sites going in where we were supposed to stay. Because of this we had to move....find other spots....super annoying. That is why the 4 stars. Everyone we spoke to was so helpful and polite. Leslie the office manager was great! The site was literally right on the water. We were picked up there (Harvey's) and we pulled out directly at our camper!!! Amazing! The direct water access was great to play and walk back to our camper. The bar/restaurant there had decent food at decent prices. I was worried it was going to be super loud, but not at all. Other than the site mix up, this place was pretty awesome!
