Annie Oakley Motel

The person that checked me in was nice. The room was really clean and it felt safe. The parking was a bit tight but it wasn't crowded so it was fine. The water pressure was pretty decent and had a great mini fridge and microwave. My only complaints were the dead bolt wouldn't close, the hole with the plumbing under the sink was the cold air blowing in (it was windy out) so the bathroom stayed cold and the bathroom faucet was the tiny holes instead of a big hole for it to run smoothly out of so it kinda splashed everywhere. I'd still stay again and appreciate the effort put into this place.

Positive: While some might says it's old, I'd say it's vintage. The rooms are always clean and smell nice. The water pressure in shower is great. Heat/AC always works. It's updated and in a safe area. We always stay here when we drove through KS. Negative: ""

Very clean, quiet motel. Had everything you needed for a one night stay. I would have rated higher, but didn’t because no light blocking shades to block the security light that was on in parking lot all night. I don’t need my room pitch black, but darker than an early twilight glow all night would have been a deal changer for me. Also, beds were a bit hard for my preference.

Highly recommended. It is very clear that the couple who run this place take a lot of pride in what they do. This is the cleanest motel we have ever stayed in. Keep in mind that we were traveling back from Las Vegas to Wisconsin and where we paid over $250 per night. So the bar was set pretty high. We honestly cannot say enough good things about our stay here. The attention to detail was flawless. Thank you to the couple who manages this motel. Your hard work did not go unnoticed.

What a gem! Just a couple of miles off of I-70, this a quaint throwback motel. Clean and in great shape. Mini fridge, microwave, ironing board, coffee maker, really great pillows. No problem with room noise as long as the AC/heater unit fan is running. Quiet small town neighborhood. I definitely would stay again!
