Anglers White River Resort

To start, we had onion strings which had the perfect consistency from being timed perfectly while cooking. Then came the crispiest salad, followed by the trout, and my friend had the salmon which were cooked to perfection. The salmon had a crisp outter crust while the inside was tenderly cooked to perfection. The pasta on someone else's plate looked fantastically creamy so ill be trying it next time. My vegetable was Brussel sprouts and although that's not my favorite, it's my new fav vege at anglers. And the chocolate cake....I'd nearly break in for more of that. All in all, it was a great experience. I'll tell everyone n def will be returning. . And if u get melissa as a waitress then u won't b disappointed. She was fast, very attentive and helpful in every way. My compliments 2 the chef

Positive; Floors , refrigerator, and what linens there were clean. Great air conditioner||Now for the rest of the story: ||When booking for Labor Day weekend , asked about fishing and swimming. Told a previously owned place was known to give day passes ( I would have paid) to their location. Got to the hotel and told probably not this weekend as everyone was full. Such small spots here and there along the shore that was accessible along the hotel back side was a swim at own risk. Current was so strong.... well you get the picture. |||1) Untold number of dead flies on the window sills. 2) Cobweb/dust bunnies along ceilings and fans. 3) Only 3 forks 4) Only two hand towels. 5) No paper towels to clean up messes and warnings that if you stain their two dish towels you will be charged. 6) Outd

Rented kayaks here. 10/10 recommend. It was about a 2.5 hour kayak for us and beautiful views. Only room for improvement was the bus ride to drop us and the kayaks off up river was pretty sketch. The bus felt like it was going to die on us and was absolutely coated on the inside with dust and dirt. Kept getting dirt in my eye on the ride out.

I only ate at the restaurant but it was very nice clean great food and they have a little store with souvenirs, fuel, float trips all kinds of cool stuff!

The location is awesome but don’t expect luxury accommodations. It’s a place to stay . The shower had no water pressure so you are not sure if you got the soap off.
