Anclote Village RV Park

Wooded, park like setting. The sites are roomy. It's eclectic, well maintained and quiet. It has wifi. The laundry and shower areas are dated but clean and functional. This much beautiful green space is rare in the area. Only the area parks rival the natural beauty of this campground.

I've never stayed here but have a friend who lives close by and decided to try this campground. We're retirees, and travel a lot, and this is the first time I've ever been turned away because I have 4 dogs! My dogs weigh in at a combined weight of 45 lbs. I belong to PassPort America, and KOA. In all the 7 years we've been traveling sometime's for months at a time, we've never been turned away because of our dogs. Their well traveled, are very well behaved, and are not barkers ! I called to reserve and when asked if I had pets, I said yes, and she asked how many, I replied 4 not expecting the response I got from the lady who I was speaking to, She said No, we can't rent to you and proceeded to say we had too many dogs and she doesn't rent to people with that many dogs! We booked and weren’t able to make our arrival date due to family emergencies, they were not only very accommodating they were very kind and considerate. The park is great, it’s close to everything but not in a noisy high traffic area. We actually have trees around us. We highly recommend this park and we will be back for the next winters.

We showed up on their doorstep without a reservation during our family's tent camping adventure. This was the perfect quiet spot for us to call home for four nights. Steve was so friendly and knowledgeable about the area, telling us about fishing spots and ready to help if we needed anything. We enjoyed this campground much more than the bigger ones due to the atmosphere, and the facilities were very accommodating, including an indoor shower and bathroom and well maintained washer and dryer. The grounds have a natural feel and look but are clearly well cared for. This campground is on our list of best places to stay. Thanks for a wonderful experience.

Old Florida feel. No amenities. Just beautiful and quiet.
