Absolutely Perfect Getaway! We just returned from an amazing stay at Anchor Inn Resort on Sand Lake, and we’re already counting down the days until we can go back. This place is a true hidden gem in northern Minnesota. The cabins were clean, cozy, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. You really feel like you’re getting the full “up north” experience—peaceful mornings on the lake, nights by the campfire, and nothing but the sounds of nature around you. Fishing was incredible! We caught walleye, northern, and perch throughout the trip—whether from the dock or out on the boat. Sand Lake is beautiful and full of life, and Monte was always willing to offer tips and point us in the right direction. Two friends and I have gone fishing there for the last three years. We love the cabins, they are clean with all the necessary amenities. Boats and docks are all we need. The owners are nice and accommodating. I highly recommend it. We are going back next year.

Monte and Heather are the perfect hosts. From the moment we arrived we were treated like we were old friends, Super accommodating and made every effort make our stay pleasurable. We camped so can't say how the cabin were but the grounds and store/bare were well kept and comfortable. There are plenty of things to do in the area if fishing isn't your thing, but I must add, the panfish are plentiful and good sized. Had a great week there.

The couple that own up are very nice.And I'm always happy to see you.And they will bend over backwards to try to keep you happy. They have a lodge what sells fishing gear and sweat And hats artisan Honey jams jelly's Maple syrup and wild rice. The record is deaf Up north woodzie With stuff bears and Aunt takes hanging from the wall ice cream in the summer They have a little bar there and they serve a limited amount of food But good food

The cabin (4) was immaculate upon our arrival. The floors, both carpet and vinyl, were spotless. The kitchen, including the refrigerator, was very clean. Monty greeted us upon our arrival and Heather soon joined us. Monty helped us launch my boat. I also saw him help another guest load his boat onto his trailer. They are very helpful friendly hosts. I will be back 😁.
