AmeriVu Inn - Gilbertsville

Absolutely nothing like the online pictures. The pool hasn't been used in years and is full of stagnant green swamp water. We didn't even bother to look inside a room, because the outside is so decrepit looking. No one in the office, just a phone number to call.

Positive: Price Negative: Fan was loud, room was non smoking, but it smelled like a smoking room

Call and reserved 2 rooms side by side on first floor on back side 4 weeks before arrival. Upon arrival they had 1 room on backside first floor and other was on 2nd floor front side. Woman at desk would not do anything about it. Very unprofessional. No ice machine and pool was green slime. Would not recommend staying there.

This place is icky. Don't trust the picture. Blood like stains on the bedding. Things are sticky. We slept on top of the bedding and left in the early morning without showering. Toilet is leaking, bathroom floor is wet. The lady at reception was nice. Had this hotel booked for a return trip, but we cancelled it. The old hotel building (not pictured) looked like a war zone.

If I could give this a zero I so would we were there not even 5 secs we walked into the room there was roaches EVERYWHERE I MEAN EVERYWHERE not to mention the beds n couch was absolutely disgusting there was dog hairs and dead bugs just everywhere , also the smell is absolutely horrible smells like someone lite a bonfire of cigarettes n js left it for weeks I would recommend saving your money n going somewhere else this is not the move.
