Amerihost Inn & Suites - Mexico

Positive: Absolutely nothing! Negative: Pictures of rooms were fake. Rooms were disgusting and smelt like an ashtray. Sheets were stained. They did not look clean nor smelt clean. It was a very unpleasant stay! The room I reserved wasn?t available.

This place is GRODY ! The carpets are so sticky, you cannot go barefoot. We "waited" for our rooms to be cleaned. We arrived at 5 PM !!||It was me and my husband in one room and my 92 year old mother in another. Our room was moderately cleaned. ||My poor mom said the sheets on one of the beds had dirt and hairs in it. The bathroom sink had whiskers in it from a man shaving!||It took us over 2 hours to check in due to problems with the 3rd party reservation company they use. So the night desk clerk did not charge us anything extra for our 2 small dogs.||When I checked out in the AM, the morning clerk said, OH, you didn't get charged for the dogs. I told her the reason and she said, "Oh we don't do comps" and charged my card. IN ADDITION to having a huge DEPOSIT/HOLD on my card for

Place was not clean. Smelled of cigarettes in a non smoking room had a dirty towel behind the door on floor on bathroom. Police were there upon check-in. Hallways had strong marijuana odor. Didn't even stay 3 hours before checking out and they refused to give a refund.

If I could rate it 0 I would. Front desk lady was nice, but the hotel was disgusting. Poorly decorated, paint peeling, brown curtains, stained couch. Had to shove the door to get it open, we walked in and walked back out immediately after finally getting the key card to work. Stay literally anywhere else

If I could give negative stars I would. The customer service is beyond terrible as one is either sleeping and barely moving or the day time lady be moving too fast. They obviously don’t have much help overworking who they do have. Which I’ve observed the owner too, unprofessional, inappropriate to be in his position, rooms are crap and worn down and the breakfast a pathetic apple with 3 day old juice smh
