We had a wonderful stay at the AmericInn in West Salem! From the moment we walked in, Tarynn was welcoming, kind, and genuinely helpful. The check-in process was smooth and easy, which is always appreciated after a long day of travel. Our room was very clean, comfortable, and quiet. The beds were cozy, and everything felt well-maintained. We especially appreciated how peaceful the hotel was at night — we were able to get a great night’s sleep. The breakfast area was clean and well stocked, with a good variety of options to choose from. It made our morning easy and stress-free. Overall, this location feels safe, comfortable, and family-friendly. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the West Salem area!

I wasn’t sure what to expect but was pleasantly surprised. We had an extremely quiet, mid-week stay even though it appeared the hotel was full or near capacity. I felt very safe staying here solo with my young daughter. The desk clerk was friendly and accommodated my request for a second floor room. We stayed in a king studio suite. It was clean and very large. The bed was comfortable, and the room was warm despite the recent falling temperatures. There were a few aspects of the room that were a little dated, but overall this hotel is nice and serves its purpose. We enjoyed our 2 night stay. The location is great, a very easy on and off the Interstate. I would recommend to anyone looking for a decent, budget friendly place to stay. We stayed at a similar property in La Crosse days later f

Positive: Cleaner than others at this level. Negative: The continental breakfast just had egg patties both days. Omelets every other day would be nice.

We had a great experience at AmericInn. The hotel was clean, quiet, and well maintained. The front desk staff was very polite and made check-in easy. The pool area was clean and relaxing. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of choices. Overall, it was a pleasant and comfortable stay. Thank you!

It was a great stay everything was fine. Very busy because there were a lot of hockey kids there. Not a problem for me what is a problem is they charged me $35 because my son spilled red pop on the sheet and apparently its ruined now. If this is the case they need to invest in some better laundry detergent. Also there was a small smudge of chocolate on the sheet which I only assume they think was poop what do they think that the red was blood it was not it was soda. You bleach white sheets that should definitely come out. 35 freaking dollars. We even left like a probably 5 to $10 tip in between there I know that's not a lot but we always try to leave something for the housekeepers and this hotel might have just ruined that for everyone else.
