Americas Best Value Inn & Suites Clarence/Buffalo East

Honestly surprised at all the bad reviews but maybe management changed hands? Idk because my husband and I went here a few years ago and loved it!!! The bathroom could’ve been bigger but it was clean, TV was fine, and we loveddddd the heart shaped jacuzzi (with MIRRORS on the ceiling too). This was less than ten years ago but maybe more than five. Can’t really remember. Wish I had pictures I could post here but the ones I took were not Google review appropriate lol. If you’re looking for a fun time with your favorite person, ask for the heart jacuzzi room! Also really easy to find and I love the architecture of the building. We checked in late but the office was still occupied. Sounds like a few one off bad experiences brought the ratings down.

I have stayed here many many times over the years. My last visit was very disappointing!! Upon registering I was told the room I specifically requested & had always stayed in was NOT available. I loved the layout of that room, canopy bed & heart shaped jacuzzi! The room they gave me had neither. I made the best of it until I decided to use the jacuzzi & found it had ants running all over it! I Redressed, complained to management & they requested I left for a fews hours while they sprayed to kill them. Fours hours later I returned to a room full of dead ants & it smelled of chemicals including my belongings. I packed up to just go home, stopped to talk to management & expected a "sorry" & at least a partial return of my money. I received neither I would NEVER return or reccommend this plac

We stayed here on the way to a concert at Darien Lake. The first two rooms we were given were either not cleaned or had people staying in them. After going to the front desk for the third time we were given a suite. It was very old and quite dated. The mattress was old and our backs hurt in the morning. Our friends traveling with us had a cleaned rom however they had to keep the air conditioner on all night to counter the urine smell that came from the bathroom. Outside the rooms were people who possibly lived here full time? They were in lawn chairs as if on their porch, commenting on the goings-ons. One positive was the landscaping was well weeded and pretty. .

Don't be fooled by good reviews. We stayed at this motel while attending a concert at Darien Lake. The first two rooms we were given were either being used at the time or not cleaned. We stayed here for one night as a last-minute booking for an event in nearby Buffalo, NY. This motel was easy to find on the main road in town and a reasonable distance from the interstate. The check-in and check-out clerks were friendly and parking was located right in front of our door. Although a continental breakfast was advertised at booking, we were advised by the night clerk that the facility was under new management and breakfast was not yet available so we easily found nearby restaurants in the morning. ||Pros - The room and bathroom were basically clean and tidy.
