Americas Best Value Inn Story City

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The beds were very soft in a good way and comfortable. The room was very large and roomy. The location was really good for the activities we had planned. There’s a restaurants nearby, including a Mexican restaurant that’s in the same parking lot. Our check-in was quick. The only complaint we have was that the breakfast wasn’t anything exciting. They had waffles, which was the only hot thing. They also had yogurt, cereal, granola, bars, muffins, cinnamon rolls, oranges and bananas, coffee, and milk. We also heard a dog barking in the early morning around 6 AM. Someone was also mowing on one of the mornings at 8 AM. If you’re a light sleeper that wasn’t ideal.

I’m down from Wisconsin for the Super Nationals in Boone and I only stayed one night as it was the end of the trip but boy I surely enjoyed this hotel/motel! A comfortable bed, nice sized tv and a good shower system! I will absolutely look to book again in the future!

Great for budget business travel and family travel. Clean, affordable, and the air conditioning works. The hotel is connected to a Mexican restaurant that gotta be good because the parking lot was full also there’s plenty of food around in walking distance, pizza, Dairy Queen, McDonald’s. They also have a super nice little grocery store and a dollar store. All in walking distance

The hotel was a small, quaint establishment with no frills. However, the staff was exceptionally kind, breakfast was simple yet satisfying, and the rooms were impeccably clean. I was pleasantly surprised, especially in these times of price gouging. We were fortunate to have found this place to stay.
