Americas Best Value Inn Historic Clewiston Inn

The best thing about this place was the A/c worked. It needs a complete makeover. I only stayed because I needed a place to rest up after driving 800 miles and the price was within my budget. I could never get the TV to work, commode issues, tub looks old and dirty. I would never stay at this place again. I asked for assistance with the TV and commode maintenance never showed. Thumbs down for this place. Next time I'll spend a little extra for better service. Highly disappointed 😞☹️😞 Oh the toilet seat cover was designed for a smaller commode. Staff were nice and she told my she placed a maintenance order to no avail.

Where do I begin?!? I'll start with positives. Staff was very nice and helpful. There is a park across the street which at this time of year was beautifully decorated. There is also a pickleball court across from the inn. The people of Clewiston are so nice. We enjoyed talking to so many. Common Grounds coffee shop across the street is very nice with good food and coffee. |Now about the Inn: We are Floridians and we were here many years ago when there was a restaurant inside. We ate but did not stay in the inn at that time but always thought we would like to come back. So Dec 2025 we decided to revisit.|We booked Dec 29 - Jan 2. Positive: Location of the hotel nice Christmas park in front employees were real courteous Negative: Clean this was not good. The rooms are really ugly conditions. The tubs are very bad leaks rust look.

It's an older hotel but gets the most important things right! Clean, comfortable bed and great shower. It's also old enough to have character and be really interesting! We would definitely stay here again.

The people at the desk were speaking Spanish the whole time we were trying to check in but spoke English to us when necessary. Our entry card didn’t scan at the door so we had to get help. The room didn’t smell good. The exit door just outside our door doesn’t lock. The view outside our window is a pile of garbage. The batteries in the remote for the TV were backwards which didn’t matter because the TV wouldn’t turn on. The bathroom had no mirror. The bathtub had water in it. The bed felt boingy. The room had a mirror but no desk under it. Hard to put my contacts in. Plug ins..none in the bathroom, 1 on the wall with 1 plug, one with a multiple 6 plug with burn marks which had the fridge, tv and microwave. One that had a multiple plug for the air conditioner and but couldn’t plug in lamp o
