Americas Best Value Inn Breaux Bridge

Manager is rude! Had a bad attitude towards us and her worker. Dead roaches and roach poop in the drawers. Roaches crawling all over the bathroom. Cigarette burn spots on the sheets. Mold all over all the outdated furniture. Apparently there’s no ac in the bathroom, it was hot in there while the room was a cool temp. Rats running into the building from outside. Unfortunately we broke down at Walmart and had no choice but to stay there. AVOID IT!

It was dark, kinda creepy & hard to find. It says Americas Best Value on Google maps. But it says Economy on sign. You couldn't understand the guy at checkin. It was creepy, super dark outside. Not too clean, beds were, but bathroom floor had debri like maybe it hadn't been rented in a while. Beds were clean & comfortable.

There were roaches in my room. German roaches. And the furniture the TV was on i looked behind it for a plug in, had food, used condoms and wrappers behind it. WHEN I TURNED THE LIGHTS ON TO USE THE RESTROOM THE ROACHES SCATTERED they even gir in the fridge where my food was. This was in the beginning of March 2025. I was on the first floor. They still have tarps on the roof from 2020 hurricane.

First time staying here & was for work and if my job brings me this way again I will most definitely be staying again. It is in a VERY convenient spot surrounded by businesses that will have all you need literally within a short walking distance. Place is clean and the guy at the front desk is super nice and personable. Only complaint would be the lighting in the room was pretty dim but was no big deal. For the price id recommend to anyone.

We were a little hesitant about this hotel. Not to worry, the room was clean and the whole first floor is a non-smoking floor. We would consider this hotel to be 'no-frills' but was reasonably priced, quiet and a good location. Lots of truckers and workers use this hotel and we felt quite safe. Check-in was quick and courteous. Will stay here again. No negatives that I can think of. Breakfast is ok, one strange thing is that the owners ask you not to take breakfast back to your room. That makes sense considering how sloppy some people are.
