American Inn of Daytona

I stayed here for a few weeks and will give it to you straight up. Rooms are absolutely disgusting, I have never been anywhere with more roaches. Used to keep the bathroom light on all night to try to keep them at bay. Spent probably $100 on varying poisons and traps. Used a few rolls of duct tape to try to seal the walls so they couldn't get in. They were still everywhere. Furniture and curtains were filled with burn marks from former drug use. Would bleach everything so it would look clean, then run a paper towel over it and it would come back black. Bed was comfortable, ac worked good most of the time, shower was hot, was given toilet paper every time I made a payment. Couldnt cook as roaches ran around in the microwave. I cannot believe this place is even open still. Mold in bathrooms, room wasn't cleaned, towels had black stains all over them. Took money off my card way before checking in for over the amount I was suppose to pay. I had to clean the room myself. Dust was thick in the room to. Fridge was dirty bathroom was dirty floors had sand and seashells on them. Housekeeper was nice but owner wasn't. Nor was she helpful or apologetic. Now fighting to get my money back which takes to long of a process. Website states newly remodeled but it's NOT! SAVE YOUR MONEY STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE. THE MOLD MADE US SICK!

Room had bed bugs and roaches like crazy... Would not recommend or ever go back there.

This place is disgusting, cockroaches everywhere, people screaming like crazy at any time. They didn’t even give me a broom for the floor, they said I need to bring my own cleaning supplies ¿? They don’t even hace a kitchen, close asap

This place is disgusting between bed bugs and cockroaches everywhere. The hotel manager is a creep and always trying to screw all the tenants. Overpriced and dirty. Dog poop everywhere and kids have garbage all over the place. I even watched some crazy lady screaming at everyone in her way. Definitely do not recommend!!!
