Amber Lake Cabin

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Amber Lake Chalet. The home is beautiful, in a serene setting and Leo is a very thoughtful host with an amazing vinyl collection. The town of Livingston Manor offers great restaurants, wine bars , breweries and the Market has a thorough selection of organic meats, veggies for stay at home meals. They also have a great selection of coffee , tea drinks and the best donuts. We look forward to returning.

My husband and I just returned from a three-night stay at Amber Lake Chalet, what a stunning rental property! This is one of the best rentals we have ever stayed in, it had everything we needed to enjoy a beautiful fall weekend in the Catskills. The property is gorgeous and the cabin itself is sparkling clean. We were able to bring our dog Schnitzel and Leo (the owner) even had the cabin stocked with dog bowls and a dog bed so he could fully enjoy the space too. We loved reading by the wood burning fireplace, the master bedroom upstairs with a private balcony and of course the private lake access! The lake is so clean and quiet, and the location of the cabin made it easy to enjoy the small towns of Livingston Manor and Roscoe. There is a trailhead about a 10-minute drive from the cabin so

Fantastic place to unwind and connect with nature! The host is super responsive and provides a lot of information not only on the property but surrounding area. The cabin is spotless, cute and cozy! very well stocked, and everything we needed was easy to find. They are very thoughtful, to the point that they have orange hats and vests for dogs so you can safely enjoy the trails during hunting season. We were able to bring our dogs which is a great feature and we all had an amazing time. Highly recommend!

We stayed at Amber Lake Chalet to celebrate my husband’s 40th and our first vacation as a family of five (one baby and two dogs). The property is gorgeous! It’s clear they put a lot of time and love in making it a memorable stay and also maintaining the property. I’ve stayed in a lot of home rentals and this is really the only one that looks exactly like the pictures! It’s also very clean and chic. Our baby was too young for the lake but loved exploring. Our pups had the BEST time. Our one dog kept demanding paddle board rides around the lake, which I was happy to oblige. I hope to stay here again over the years! It’s perfect.

Amber lake chalet was our home away from home for the most perfect fall weekend! Leo was wonderful and made our first stay in the Catskills one to always remember. Leo provided us with everything we needed and more. He went above and beyond in communicating with us to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed for the weekend. He was very accommodating and provided many restaurants/activity recommendations for our stay. The cabin was in the perfect location- we were able to explore the surrounding towns and the trails were beautiful and so close by. We could not stop talking about how peaceful and quiet the area was. The cabin was clean, beautifully furnished and decorated, and most definitely cozy.
