Alpenglow Cabin

Nice home but after we left the cabin we received a call that we broke a piece of rock off of the fireplace. I informed her we had no knowledge of the accident and didn’t have the broken piece. We were informed we would lose our deposit because it was there during the final dust check. We reviewed any pictures we took with no luck but were able to find pictures on the website where it was previously broke. Beware of this cabin, it’s likely they try this stunt with other renters because of how adamant she was that it was not damaged prior to check in. Will not be returning.

Great cabin for our family of 7. Stocked with kitchen items, spacious kitchen d lots of room to spread out with 3 levels. Located near several of the Hocking Hills trails. Kids enjoyed the lower level game room space. Main living room has only 1 couch though, which was not really enough for a cabin that sleeps 10. Piano is nice, but this space calculus house another couch instead. Outdoor fireplace and dining area were perfect for outdoor meals!

Great cabin for our weekend getaway! Comfortable for 3 couples and so nice. Loved it all and will be back!

Stayed two nights with a total of 7 adults. Beautiful cabin. I liked that it feels extremely private because it sits 100 yards off the road, and none of the surrounding cabins are visible from this cabin. Liked that each of the six main hiking locations of Hocking Hills are within 20 minutes or less. Downtown Logan is fairly close as well for restaurants and shopping. Would definitely stay at Alpenglow Cabin again.

Great cabin for a weekend away. We had 3 couples spend the weekend in the Alpenglow Cabin and for the most part we thoroughly enjoyed it. Very private and quiet! We were concerned about the hot tub though. The water was green and the hot tub had no detectable amount of chlorine in it. Two of the couples own hot tubs at home and we brought test strips to double check it so needless to say, we did not use it. It wasn’t enough to call about because we kept ourselves busy playing pinball, video games and just hanging out around the fire. We have already talked about planning a return trip next fall! I would just recommend having the company check the hot tubs beforehand!!
