Aloft North Kansas City

Great location for the price. Hotel was clean and well-themed. No breakfast. As others have mentioned the shower doesn't offer much privacy if traveling as a family. Room was not ready at check in time (4:00). Dirt on one of my pillows upon check in. Wasn't tacky or a deal breaker though. Good hotel overall.

Stayed here during my visit to Kansas City with a friend and this is the first time staying at a Aloft, will be the last time. The hotel is located right along railroad tracks. I was able to sleep through it but the tracks are used regularly and if noises wake you up easily, stay away from this place!||I think we were on the second floor, but the walls are paper thin. You could hear people walking around above us and the doors were slamming so hard that they vibrated through the hallway. ||When you walk into the hotel, you walk over to the check in area, no signage indicating a check in, but there are two small counters where the employees stand behind. The room was beautiful and the location hard to beat. That being said… The security deposit was NOT mentioned at any point; my wife was just asked to swipe her card. Seeing in the comments how long these funds may hold does not help. Also $24/day parking is a joke! We can go to the motel 8 and park for free. These things wouldn’t have been so bad if we had a heads up- at all. We won’t be back.

The vibe is modern, upbeat, and refreshingly welcoming but what truly made my solo trip unforgettable were Ralph and Jose. Ralph greeted me with the kind of energy that instantly lifts your travel fatigue. He was not only professional but genuinely warm, offering local tips and making sure I had everything I needed before I even asked. His attention to detail and easygoing charm made check-in a breeze. Jose, on the other hand, was the heartbeat of the security protection and lounge area. he recommending me the best late-night food spots and he brought personality and polish to every interaction. His hospitality turned into the reason why I would stay here
