Aloft Fort Worth Downtown

Due to the price of most downtown Ft Worth hotels, we booked the Aloft. My first time at one and it will be my last. First the good news- the entire staff was great and friendly. Now the rest. This is a hotel for kids not adults. No closet, 6 pegs to hang clothes. Chairs so low that you have to get help to stand up. A plastic office chair. |Small bathroom with little counter space. Finally the air conditioning was odd. Can't really adjust the air flow or its direction that kept adjusting itself. Spend the extra money, we will next time.

Positive: Location Negative: Cleanliness was not there. Sheets and bedding was dirty. Furniture was sticky. There was an open half drank water bottle where the complimentary were. Staff was rude over the phone. The ‘suite’ wasn’t as advertised on app.

Valet line can fill up fast and the elevator takes a bit, but the service is excellent from valet to front desk to the bar/grill. Great communicators and willing to work with you to make your stay comfortable. Lauren at the bar is quick, efficient and fantastic. Lauren has the personality that makes you feel as if you’re seeing a past time best friend. Overall a good stay. 4.5 stars

We had a short stay for one night at the hotel arriving on Sunday, Nov. 16th, and checking out the 17th. The reason for our stay was for a scheduled interview process for my daughter to be considered for the Royal Academy of Veterinary Medicine that was scheduled on the 17th at the Palm Conference Center. Everyone from the Valet Parking to the reception area, to the bar area, and cleaning staff was super friendly and helpful. The room was exceptional! So much so, I just wish my stay would have been longer because everyone made us feel so welcome. Few hotels in the industry do that for their customers, yet the Aloft in downtown Fort Worth was nothing short of wonderful. I also wanted to commend Roxanne at your front desk. Our stay at Aloft was very frustrating due to consistently poor customer service and lack of basic hospitality. The issues started early. The coffee ran out in lobby and staff refused to refill it for my husband and another lady that wanted coffee. In our room, the lotion bottle had clearly already been used and was completely empty, so we had to go downstairs to request a replacement. The hot tea station in lobby was also poorly maintained — at one point the water container was empty, and later when I returned, the water in the container was only room temperature, not hot. Breakfast was the most disappointing part. At the check-in counter we specifically asked how the breakfast service worked and were told to seat ourselves and someone would come to the table. We sat there for 25 minut
