Allegory Inn

Quaint Inn in a great location for skiing Bretton Woods. Owners are friendly and responsive. Nicely decorated with a festive Xmas theme. I had a King bed in room 1D and it was very comfy. Pillows and towels were nice. Shower was good. SmartTV has good reception and a good selection of channels. I would definitely come back any time of the year.

I would give ten stars if I could. Christine and Nathan are excellent hosts, communication before, during, and after booking is phenomenal. They are quick to respond to inquiries, and have made for the easiest, efficient check-in/check-out process. The inn is decorated so nice, there is plenty of common spaces, including a well-stocked coffee bar and kitchen area. The parking lot is spacious and there is direct snowmobile trail access, which is why we picked this inn. Our room was very clean, the bathroom large and updated. The tv service had every channel we could want, room had its own thermostat, great view of Twin Mountain, and the bed was comfortable with cozy bedding. It felt like we were guests visiting family, and we’ll be back soon!

Awesome stay at Allegory Inn – mid September 2025.||This was our second or third stay here (but the first time under new ownership).|This is a great spot! Nice and close to lots of the mountain trails (including Zealand, Hale, Hancock’s, Jefferson and Washington (and the Cog Railway) just to name a few. Lots of rivers and ski/snow mobile trails close by as well.||Your stay is all done remotely from booking to electronic pass codes for the front door and your room. New owners are completely rehabbing the place (although we thought it was nice already). The place is immaculate and cozy. ||There is a communal living room, library, screened in front porch and kitchen. All are tastefully decorated and the kitchen has full-size refrigerator/freezer, sink, microwave, coffee pot and Kurig mac

We have been staying at the Inn and skiing at Brettonwoods. We like the convenience and value very much. The hosts are friendly and accommodating. The rooms are clean and comfortable and we like having the shared spaces, especially the kitchen. They offer coffee, tea, hot chocolate and snacks including light breakfast options.

We snowmobiled to the Inn and was met by Nathan. We had a nice visit with him before going in. Our room was just what we needed for an overnight stay. Nice kitchen area with plenty of snacks and hot chocolate, tea, and coffee available. It was quiet and convenient to get to. Highly recommended.
