This is a really decent campground. The sites are fairly small for the most part but also fairly secluded. There is really good access to a couple decent hikes. And you're not very far from Willow flat which has access to other hikes as well. There is water nearby in spigots about every other site. The fire rings are great and there are benches in the sites. There are two sets of bathrooms which are the main source for me docking one star because they are not very pleasant. The Cub River runs right through the camp and has easy access from a few of the sites for some fun if you are okay with freezing cold water. The sites are fairly shaded as well, which is nice in the summer. We went in mid-July and had no problem with bugs. There's a parking lot across the bridge and a larger one acr
Great place for camping! Lots of birds which means they will wake you up, but that also means not tons of bugs. Definitely a popular ATV area, but we didn't hear non stop engines or anything. Very green, tons of shade. 15 minutes from Preston if you need anything. Be aware, this is NOT a place for camping trailers. There are a couple places where a smaller trailer could fit, but this is mostly for tent camping.
A nice campground! The bathrooms were well-maintained and clean, didn’t even smell bad. This campsite was the first one on the left coming into the campsite, it wasn’t ideal in that way because people were always driving past during the day, but otherwise great. There is a little water wheel next to the campsite too which is fun.
Nice campground, bathrooms are a little rough, but okay. ATV trails in this area are difficult for young or inexperienced riders. Cub river was flowing high and fun to splash in. Tables at every camp spots and a fire pit. Plenty of shade. Lots of dogs, all friendly during our stay.
Beautiful location with Cub River running by each campsite. I only rated it down because the vaulted toilets that served our campsites were disgusting. The smell was so bad it made my eyes burn. So we all just walked to the start of the camp to the single valuted toilet and it was much better. That toilet was wheelchair accessible. The stinky ones were not. They were at the top of a steep hill and there was a step to get in but those toilets were separated into mens and womens. There was water spigot with soap from camp hosts, by each bathroom as well as two other water spigots. It is gravel roads to the camp and in the camp. Albert Moser was easy to find, marked by a sign. Lots of shade, nice overall.
