Alamo Motel

Pleasant stay however maybe this particular boutique motel is better suited to a younger crowd, I’m 52. Single pane windows and no maid service even if requested. Bed was not as comfortable but not terrible either and bathroom was a tight squeeze and I’m of average build. The tub was a very nice feature to have and use. Centrally located so thats perfect. No EV charging station onsite. We enjoyed our stay but don’t think we would be back. 1-5 minute walk to Bell’s, Michelin star restaurant. Bobs Well Bread bakery, Full of Life Flatbread, Plenty on Bell.

This is absolutely one of my favorite places to stay. The town is charming, and there are several great restaurants nearby, one with a Michelin star. The rooms are rather quaint, with tile floors and very comfortable beds. Some have big old bath tubs as well. ||There is a wine bar open around 6:30 pm in the evening, and a big fire pit where you can meet a fascinating collection of travelers. Kid friendly. clean comfortable beds, and a great staff.||I have a few critiques. Some rooms don't really have a place to sit except a bench under the window, and the hot water pots have a very short cord, so you have to get creative to find a spot to plug them in to make tea in the morning.||However it is quiet, the room temperature controls are convenient and easy to use, and I always rest well here.

This was quite the surprise! I haven't stayed in a motel in ages, it was a nice experience. We went at a good time, it wasn't crowded, the weather was nice and everything was available, no problem getting reservations. It's close to nice restaurants and there is a lot to see and experience close by.||The town is small and quiet, we like to walk and explore so we found a few shops off the main street that were great! The motel is small and quiet, I loved the onsite wine bar, it wsa a great place to start our walking tour.||The rooms was small and the bed was a little soft, but we basically just needed a place to sleep as we were out most of the day and evening. Everything was clean and loved the large tub!||Not terribly expensive although the snacks in the room were tempting but a bit price

Wonderful redesigned motel with chic, functional touches. Easy check in and out and a comfortable, charming stay. Docked one star for the shower head and bathroom sink, though... the sink was tiny, low, and the water did not get hot (I was there in December), and the shower head seemed to have been neglected in the renovation... for the $300+ price point, I expected a better shower experience.

Very nice calm location and clean, comfortable bed. Not fancy but good enough for staying.
