Alamo Inn

Nice, quiet motel with a very friendly staff and an old-school motel feel. Lots of room, and very pet-friendly. Not a lot of places to eat nearby, so plan to eat before you get there. The coffee was EXCELLENT!

Blink and you might miss it driving by! Room was dated but comfortable. Hot water. Fuzzy pattern wallpaper. Good TV/internet, mini fridge. It had everything needed as a "home base" for exploring the area and we extended our stay. The proprietor had so much amazing family/local history dating back to the 1800s to share which was really neat. Sweet guy. Will definitely stay again if adventuring through the region!

Friendly service, clean rooms with cool vintage fixtures, great price. It was the perfect way to split the drive 50/50 from Tucson, AZ to Boise, ID. North of Vegas is great for having a nice no-traffic drive up the 93. Military jets were doing dogfighting practice over Hiko and that was really fun to watch. Made me want to go watch Top Gun again. Although there’s just coffee at the inn, gas station nearby in Hiko is actually well equipped for how remote it is- nicer quality warmer breakfast burritos and sandwiches. My only negative experience here was that the parking is really close to the rooms (which is convenient and great especially if all cars pull nose-in) but we had a couple of dirt bike adventurers warming up their bikes outside the room while my heat was on in the morning and it

2nd stay here on my way to Las Vegas. Clean, comfortable, safe & quiet. Great value for "vintage" motel. Very nice owner, Vern, who lives onsite making sure property is accommodating and secure. Parking space just feet from my door. The price is right for a roadside motel, good fridge, good microwave, no coffee in room, but free at the office just steps away. Beats paying $350/night to stay in Las Vegas...see you next year, Vern!! 🤠
