Akers Pond Inn Cabins & Camp Sites

My husband and our 1 y/o dog and I just stayed 3 nights in a cabin. It has 2 queen size beds and a full size futon. It has a kitchenette which is comprised of a fancy new multifunctional oven (Kaloric brand, similar to my Breville). It has a Keurig type coffee maker with several pods supplied as well as creamer, sugar, etc. a full size fridge (the fridge is silent, which is super important for me when sleeping in the same room), and a full size sink. Armand provides all accoutrements needed to cook, serve and clean up after meals. I do suggest bringing some aluminum foil. The host has great attention to detail and really cares about your lodging in comfort. Oh, there's a dining area and a large wall-mounted flat screen tv. I’m not always at a loss for words, but I am very impressed. me and my sweetheart called in the early evening, and without asking for a debit card, he held our cabin for us. Very impressed with the new owner. There is a pond for fishing and I tested the Wi-Fi and it is excellent an overlapping mesh Wi-Fi system. I am a retired network administrator with 25 years experience in information technology. His Wi-Fi network is sufficiently hardened and fast. Very personable owner and we had an excellent chat upon arrival after getting our room the owner, Mr. Armand Arce, a semi retired multi lingual(Spanish and French), account, walked us to our cabin and brought us two bottles of water. We rented one of the cabins and were very impressed with the comfort of the beds, the upgraded appliances and the overall cleanliness of the place. There was a table and chairs provided for relaxing outside around the new fire pit! Mr. Armand Arce was a wonderful host and was very knowledgeable things to do in the area. Armand was very helpful all the way from reserving the studio apartment all the way through check-in and our stay. He was extremely helpful in recommending places to visit nearby. And the space was incredible! It was a wonderful place for me and my son to relax before and after days of touring around. Would definitely like to come back!

I'm giving 5 stars due to the owners efforts at making the simple, generous sized cabin we stayed in last week as nice as it can be. It has 2 queen size beds, a full size futon, dining area, flat screen tv, free standing air conditioner, good size bath, kitchenette which included a modern multifunctional countertop oven (bring foil if you plan to cook), a Keurig and regular coffee maker (including several pods, sugar, creamer), a full size fridge, microwave, and fully stocked cabinets for serving your meals.
