ADERO Scottsdale Resort, Autograph Collection

Came in with my girlfriend to celebrate her birthday. I called the front desk ahead of time to deliver a wine bottle plus a chef's favorite dessert as they call it, to our room when we're out. Turns out, not only did they NOT deliver this, they didn't even have it noted down anywhere in their system. I went back to the front desk and none of them had a clue of this request. I had called them beforehand and confirmed while checking in too, if they have it in the system and the front desk lady had said yes. I just feel that a brand like Marriott should have better customer service. And that the front desk team should not be this clueless. They should have better communication between themselves. Had it not been for the awesome valet parking team, would have left on day 1.

My wife and I recently enjoyed a wonderful four-night stay at the Adero Resort in Scottsdale this past October. We booked a Dark Sky Corner Suite based on other reviewers' advice about noise levels, but our stay was very quiet and peaceful.||The room was large, with a partial wall separating the living and sleeping areas. The décor was a bit dated, but the room was still very inviting and comfortable, and the highlights were definitely the incredible view and an absolutely enormous walk-in shower.||We ate at the hotel restaurant multiple times for both dinner and breakfast. The food was excellent across the board, though our service for weekend breakfast was notably slower. The restaurant staff were very friendly and helpful. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Adero. My room was humongous and the floor plan was aesthetically pleasing and the bathroom was simply stunning. I totally fell in love with the shower/tub area. The balcony was extremely spacious and the view from my room was gorgeous. The only issue that I had with the room was I noticed that other rooms had telescopes available on the balcony but my room only had binoculars, adding a telescope to that room would be my only request. The staff was friendly and helpful, I had a wonderful stay. My room was book by a concierge who recommended the place but stated that he was interested in visiting the property because he had heard good things. Well I reassured him that he was correct, that it was a must see!

We loved our stay at Adero. While there are a couple things that should be stressed. Highly recommend renting a car. We paid a ton of money for Ubers and also scheduled to have an uber take us to airport and Uber cancelled the ride at the exact time we were supposed to be picked up, leaving us scrambling to get new ride and racing to airport. The hotel really should offer a shuttle, IMO. While they will shuttle to close by places not to airport. The pool is great but only offers poolside service during weekend. Our room was fabulous, we had a corner suite, with amazing views. Hotel staff was phenomenal and tried to accommodate anyway possible. Hotel shuttle took us to wicked Six bar and grill which is Dry Ridge golf club… we had an amazing dinner with live music, highly recommend. Breakfas

This is a really nice hotel with very clean spaces and wonderful amenities. it's in a desert area so don't expect to walk to shops, instead plan to enjoy the facilities and uber /drive around if needed. the restaurant, gym, and spa are fantastic! I would like especially to shout out the barista, the spa therapists Monique and Dominique, and our servers Sean and Rebecca who were all great professionals and delivered exceptional service. The front desk manager as well was really thoughtful and explained all the different features of the rooms given we had an eccentricity with our reservation (from our own booking, not the hotel). The value for dollar here is excellent too, I personally found the food quality was amazing. My only request is to switch to Coke products rather than pepsi :) We h
