Ace Lodge

I have no complaints. It's an old place, but it's kept up with and very clean. The only reason I can see people complaining is that they are expecting the rooms to be like a holiday inn. Ace Lodge rates are an awesome value for a clean, comfortable and quiet place to spend a night or however long. I'll definitely return. Thanks to the owners for letting me check in in the morning and for the understanding with my late check out! Wonderful people!

My wife and I stayed at the Ace Lodge in Truth or Consequences for one night in early August 2021 while on vacation in southwestern New Mexico. We made a reservation by phone ahead of time just in case but there appeared to be plenty of vacancy once we were there. Mr. and Ms. Kern (the owners/caretakers) were very pleasant for making a reservation on the phone and for check-in once we arrived at the motel. This is a classic old school mom and pop motel probably dating back to the 1950s or 1960s just by looking at the architecture. Right up my alley! Quaint, inexpensive, and very clean room! Excellent price ($44+ tax) I stayed one night while passing through. Super easy to find too. I actually got a key to my room!!! The lady at the lobby was super sweet and friendly. The bed was very comfortable and I had a great sleep. I bookmarked them in case I pass through again, and I highly recommend it. This place was better than some 3 star hotels I've stayed in.

Basic, clean, friendly staff. Real pet friendly (important!). The quietest motel I ever stayed in. I brought my own coffee and hotpot. I felt real comfortable. Central location. Glad I stumbled upon it and may stay an extra day!

The motel room was clean. The bathroom had been updated. Room #21 is big. with a bigger bathroom. We stayed just one night . The night clerk was very nice also.:) The heater worked well. We were able to park our truck right outside our door.
