Above the clouds cabin

Very nice cabin! Beautiful decks on two levels. Spacious rooms, and great amenities. Would rent this again!

Plenty of room. Great views of the valley below. Everything worked, hot tub, appliances, etc.

Very nice. Had a few issues they sent maintenance to fix, very friendly and helpful. Resolved. Our big issue was trying to find the place. There are no signs on the main road. Had to call the office. She was patient and stuck with us until we were there. You need to pull into someone else's parking spot to get to the cabin. I recommend they supply some hand soap at the sinks. A roll of paper towels would be helpful as well. Other cabins I've rented that was a common thing. The hot tub was nice. Quite area. Bring your food, as off-season most things are closed.

I rented this cabin and 5:00 Somewhere. I felt bad asking my parents to stay in this one but they could not do the stairs at 5:00. The beds are in desperate need of new mattresses. Light from outside can be seen in several spots (supports/trusses). The grade is 20 degrees for parking so it is best to park at 5:00 and hike down to your cabin. The stairs leading to the cabin are leaning so be careful on the first step. The bathroom is missing the threshold to the floor so watch little ones and bare feet. The hot tub cover isn’t in good shape. Update: There are holes in the pool table pockets and with it being on the 2nd floor, it is quite a bang. Update: Look at pics and also - the washer does not work. I see that it was mentioned on another review too. Good thing we had a second

These cabins in Kentucky are great for family get togethers or quiet retreats. We use them to meet up with extended family at Thanksgiving. It's definitely worthwhile if you're considering doing something similar. It's also nice to walk on the hilly roads. We've only been in the fall but the surroundings are beautiful.
