Abbevilla Motel

There are bugs, cockroaches, and spiders in the rooms! Got two rooms for a week and he said the person I bought the other room for the money so even though the room was changed over to my name, he refused to renew the key and then threw both of us out of the rooms and didn’t refund our money for the remaining four days for two rooms. Jay, the owner is housing section 8 people there at his motel in horrible conditions. I would not even go to the store there that they never sweep or mop!!!! But the rooms are disgusting and there’s also drug activity going on at all hours people waking you up…. Horrible.

I gave this place like a two rooms we're not cleaned at all they were nasty turn the water on in the tub but couldn't damn turn it off black mold all around the tub just a nasty nasty room I give it a one was not impressed with this room the parking lot was filthy trash all over the rooms are very outdated it reminded me of a drug motel won't never be staying there again

I've stayed here while working out of town before and was basic but clean and owner were so nice and accommodating.. this time the owners are out of country and management doesn't care.. trash in room from last people that Stayed and bathroom was disgusting. Carpet was not vaccumed. Gross! Mildew on shower curtain. I had to clean room before I could sit down and put own bedding on bed..

THE GOOD: typical small town motel, good price point, quiet location, spacious room, bedding was clean. THE BAD: There was makeup & coffee residue left in the sink from the previous guest (which I washed out). Mildew on the shower curtain and the bathtub and toilet also needed to be cleaned.

Looks decent from the road but not inside….no closet, no hangers , no hairdryer, very low lighting in bathroom; our towels (only 2, small, thin, rough, very discolored and looked stained; washcloth was the same); sheets were a green but pillowcases were a different shade of green! Staff was non-verbal ( only saw one woman who checked me in , mostly with hand signals rather than words; definitely no “nice touches found; I read several glowing reviews on the motel but I think someone must have been paid to write them! Overpriced, but we were getting too tired to keep looking for something better. Cigarette burns in the sheets and bedspreads!!
