A Riverside Retreat - Cozy Vacation Rental Cabin Near Stevens Pass and Hiking

A Riverside Retreat is located across the street from the river with surrounding mountain views and excellent hiking trails. It is an absolutely beautiful location. The host, Kenneth was great! He was very communicative with clear instructions and good recommendations. He and his wife paid attention to detail in both the decor and amenities that they provided. They offer bicycles, corn hole, fire pit, grill, hot tub, a well-equiped kitchen, linens and more. Overall...top notch experience. They set the bar high for our next Airbnb! We will definitely be going back to a Riverside Retreat!

Really enjoyed our time at Ken's AirBNB. The view alone was worth the stay to see the mountains every morning and hearing the river and birds all day is very peaceful. By far the best views we have had right outside of any Airbnb we have stayed at. Kens place had everything thing you needed to feel at home and plenty of amenities to feel like your on vacation. The bed was very comfortable! Ken provides wonderful recommendations for food and activities that are near by. We really liked Rico's pizza!

We LOVED our time in Index so much we are now looking for our own place there! This was the CLEANEST air bnb I’ve ever stayed in (seriously, your cleaner needs a bonus this year 😆). Bed was comfy, we had everything we needed, well stocked with supplies, view was incredible, sound of the river was peaceful, didn’t even notice the trains, sooooo much great hiking nearby. We highly recommend Heybrook Ridge, Wallace Falls, and Iron Goat. Ken was super friendly and instructions/welcome book were very clear!

WOW!! Our weekend at Ken’s house was unforgettable. Everything was perfect and well described at the house, so we had nothing to distract from days spent staring at the view. Roasting marshmallows, hot tubbing, sitting down at the river’s edge — all incredible experiences. The bikes were an unexpected highlight! I hope to return soon.

Ken’s place is fantastic—beautiful, cozy, and warm, with a gorgeous mountain view. The town is peaceful, and Ken is very easy to communicate with. We will definitely choose this place again when we visit Index next time.
