A & E Motel

Well service here was very nice. However the room... I got no dresser for my clothes. Just a closet with no door and a really small bathroom. At least the bed is comfortable. It is located in maryland. About 20min from cove point. The price is the cheapest around. So I guess you get what you paid for right.

...but with a kind of squalid charm. When I first entered my room, I discovered a copious quantity of human hair all over the mini fridge and the coffee-maker tray atop the mini fridge. As if someone had had their hair cut in that corner of the room.I asked at the front desk for the hair to be removed, and it was, two days later. I stayed on for a week because the price can't be beat. On the other hand, I've stayed at other weekly-rate motels - I consider myself pretty well qualified to judge a weekly rate motel) and for the same price, I've gotten daily cleaning, daily fresh towels, and a bed without a plastic sheet -- none of which can be said for the A & E.

And not in a good way. What sort of accommodation rents rooms without towels, soap, or other amenities? What sort of accommodation rents a room with a non-working toilet? What sort of accommodation rents a room that has not had its sheets changed or has been cleaned since it’s last use?||One that is not in the accommodation business? What is going on there? When was the last time the Board of Health had a look? The police?

This motel does NOT deserve a star. The housekeeper lied about my boyfriend an I. Saying she had to clean my rm for 8 hrs. An I didn't give her a tip. She really never cleaned my rm. The day I left I cleaned the rm. I was staying in. I bought my own cleaners. So my rm smelled better. Than what cleaners she has. And as for my daughter's rm. I had a friend help her clean her rm. An rite beside her was a druggie. Smoking crack with his newborn. And on the other side was a woman who went to jail. An they SO CALLED cleaned her rm. An left blood on the bed. An then rented it out again.

This motel is NOT where you want to stay. It appears residential and normally there are people loitering in front. It has high pedestrian traffic. NO STARS not even ½ of a star. This property should probably be demolished and rebuilt. Currently I think this area could be dangerous. I had to give it a rating to post but Im taking it back NO STARS
