88 Motel

I grew up in Brick and drove past this hotel for years. I had no practical reason to stay until recently when my boyfriend and I came around Halloween to visit my parents who are still living in town. It was the perfect choice.||The motel is family-owned, taken care of, and well-loved. The owners take a lot of pride in making sure the place is as accommodating and comfortable for their guests as possible. Even when it's off-peak season, we were still treated wonderfully and no different than if we were coming on Memorial Day or 4th of July.||Our room was cleaned and stocked with any amenity you could ask for, including a full-size fridge and freezer, microwave, and even a stove top. I was very pleasantly surprised when I recently discovered the 88 Motel. It is owned and operated by a friendly couple who treat you almost like family. I stayed there twice during the off-season (October and November), for about a week each time. Both rooms were very comfortable. For my first visit, there was a vase of flowers. During my second visit, the owners left me fresh baked cookies. How inviting is that?! The amenities are perfect. There is a 2-burner stove, a full-size refrigerator, a microwave, large screen television, heat and air conditioning, etc. The room was always clean, and there were fresh towels every day. I borrowed an iron and ironing board from the owners. They were always so helpful! The motel is near the ocean beaches, boardwalk and the inland waterway.

The owners REALLY take care of this motel. Upgraded everything in the rooms (been in two different ones over the past three years when we come up north).||Room is super clean. Regular sized fridge. Microwave, two burner stove, coffee pot, dishes and cutlery, toaster, TV, dresser, and a place to hang clothing.||Towels changed daily, heat and A/C in the room.|Location is perfect, no noise from outside, even though it's on a state road. QUIET and next to a Certified Wildlife Habitat. Just a beautiful location.|Liz and her husband are the owners and they really care about their guests.|WELL WORTH staying here. |We love this place!

My family had an absolutely wonderful experience here! Liz is such a sweet and understanding owner at 88 Motel. She made us feel at home as soon as I walked in. And the grandkids loved the"homemade"cookies gift she left in our room. I wasnt expecting room service for our stay but it was all neat and tidy when we came back. We used the pool "a lot" because the weekend we were stayed there was riptide closures at the beach. The pool was "SpArKLiNg"clean the whole time we were there. And the motel it is close to many food establishments and stores. We'll definitely stay again. Thank you again Liz!❤️

I have had the pleasure of staying here on multiple occasions, and the one word that comes to mind every time is wow. This is truly a hidden gem on the jersey shore. I have stayed in many other establishments in the area over the years, but this location is not only the best value, but it also has the best service. As a small family owned establishment, Ken and Liz make you feel right at home. They are always available to answer questions and provide needed services. The rooms are clean, updated and well maintained. The pool is relaxing, and you cannot beat the view of the creek at sunset. If you are looking for a reasonable, clean, safe and relaxing environment for you and your family, I cannot recommend the 88 Motel enough.
