1835 House

Very beautiful stay, down the block from delicious restaurants and the lake. Comfortable seating and bedding throughout the house with fully stocked kitchen and great front porch for enjoying a glass of wine. Less than a block from public beach with life guards and kayak launch. We will return!

The location of the property is everything here. It is close to shops, restaurants and the south end of Keuka Lake. The property needs a lot of help. It appears as if someone did a DIY renovation and wasn't qualified to do the work, evidenced by holes in the walls not patched, a barely functioning door lock, outlets protruding from the walls, cheap light switches - one of which was inoperative and had been "fixed" with scotch tape. The kitchen is not equipped for four people staying for a week. There are three plates, three bowls and no prep equipment (measuring spoons, cooking dishes, etc). It would be very easy to visit the Corning Outlet and properly outfit this kitchen. The kitchen is very outdated, old, and in need of a renovation.
