1795 Acorn Inn Bed and Breakfast

My husband and I recently enjoyed spending a few days in Canandaigua. We stayed at the 1795 Acorn Inn Bed and Breakfast. Sheryl was wonderful and welcoming. Everything from our beautiful and comfortable room to the absolutely delicious, gourmet breakfasts were above and beyond our expectations. We'll definitely be back! We had a great stay at the 1795 Acorn Inn during fall foliage season. The inn was clean and comfortable, with nice decor throughout. Our room had a private patio which was perfect for enjoying the autumn colors each morning.||Sheryl provided helpful recommendations for dining and local attractions. We visited Letchworth State Park based on her suggestion and really enjoyed it - it's quite different from Watkins Glen with more wide-open landscapes versus the intimate gorge experience. Both are worth seeing if you have time.||While we didn't use the breakfast service or hot tub this trip, they're good options to have available. Overall, the inn made for a comfortable home base while exploring the Finger Lakes area. We'd stay here again.

My wife and I spent 5 nights in mid-September. Wonderful trip in the Finger Lakes region. Our Innkeeper was most helpful in directing us to points of interest.||The room was spacious with a private patio to a lovely garden area. The bathroom was also spacious with a large walk-in shower. The Inn also provide all the personal care items that you may have forgotten.||Breakfast each morning was first rate. All hand prepared and delicious.||We highly recommend it for your next stay in the area.

The 1795 Acorn Inn B&B's Innkeeper, Owner, Manager, Chef & All round Gardener Sheryl greeted us at the door and was very pleasant and informative. She provided several maps and suggestions for doing things during our stay. The Inn is cozy and decorated nicely. We stayed in The Barn and it was comfortable, well supplied and exceptionally clean. We highly recommend this quaint inn for a weekend skiing or discovering great restaurants, wineries and shopping!

What a beautiful bed and breakfast! We stayed for two nights after our wedding and are so happy we picked the 1795 Acorn Inn. From the stunning decor, to the delicious homemade breakfasts, to the cozy rooms, every part of our stay was perfect. Sheryl, the inn-keeper, was responsive in her emails and helped us arrange for an easy check-in process. She was welcoming and her hospitality is off the charts. We stayed in the Bristol Room and found it to be beautiful and comfortable. There is a window nook that overlooks the garden in the back. We also made use of the hot tub in the garden area after receiving massages in our room earlier that day.
