Zion Retreat & RV Park

We go to Zion several times each camping season. The location is nice as it is still close to a Dollar General if needed and the local pizza place! It’s clean and have never had any noise issues. The playground is great for kids!

We booked all the cabins, pavilion and couple RV sites. RV sites were larger than expected with full hookup. The price was more than reasonable. The bathroom/showers were new and near by. The cabins under advertised!! We had no idea what to expect but everyone was extremely please! The A/C was amazing and rooms were comfortable. Pavilion was nice and cool on a hot day. We loved it and would love to come again.

On our anniversary trip to Belmont County, Ohio, The Bigfoot Geotour brought us to the Zion RV park. This area is tucked way back into a place where you would really have to go off the beaten path to find.||When pulling in, you see numerous RVs. As you get farther back, there are cabins that can be rented. We found a really cool playground that resembled Noah’s Ark and lots of banners with biblical references.||Though only passing through, photos I’ve seen of the inside of the cabins are very nice. It appears that people who stay here are very friendly and welcoming.||A nice water area near the playground and pavilions located in different areas.||Looks like something to definitely check into for a future stay!

Location of RV Park is convenient to I70 and about 20 minutes from St. Clairesville, Ohio. Overall the park is very nice with beautiful scenery. My rating is the result of the newest 3 spots where we stayed. These sites are not finished although it has full hookup. They could best be described as large size gravel poured and leveled in the middle of a rice paddy because of the standing water. If the sites were described to us when we made the reservations, i would have chosen not to stay. But because refunds would not be given, we opted to suffer with it.

Our family spent the weekend in the Bear Cabin. The decor was stunning. Beds were comfortable. The area was very quiet. It would be great if property guests could fish the large lake without paying. We will be back!
