The fire ring is totally rusted closed, and the picnic table is for looking at only, I believe the slightest touch would render it totally disintegrated. Poison ivy warning signs at the site. There are two dug latrines' that face each other, which is nice but awkward. It's at the top of a high sandy cliff, you'll canoe right past it if you aren't looking for the clearing. South side of the river. There is a spur connection to the St. Louis River Hiking Trail from this campsite.
