Highly recommend staying here! The yurts have everything you need for a perfect weekend getaway, couple that with world class views, easy access to everything you want to do in the area and helpful/ flexible staff! We had a great weekend here and will most certainly be coming back in the future. Thanks again!

The perfect getaway! We had a wonderful time there. The Yurts are beautiful and comfortable, and the scenery is stunning. Nothing like having breakfast or dinner with a view on the beautiful mountains!

This is a great place for relaxing and enjoying nature. The yurts are well constructed and comfortable. Even when it gets down into the 30s at night the yurt stays warm. It was also a great place to take our two big berners. We will definitely come later in the year again and enjoy some night time star watching. Definitely check this place out when you want a relaxing break without the technology.

Loved our stay! It’s a super tranquil, eco-friendly retreat perfect for those seeking a sustainable getaway. The yurt offers modern amenities: a full kitchen, 3/4 bathroom with a shower, and a gas fireplace. The internet is great. Note that it operates on solar power and a modest water heater, so monitor water and electricity use (daytime is best for high electricity tasks). The grey water is reused for agriculture, so treat everything with care, not like a regular hotel. And, yes, you’ll drive through a herd of cows and might even spot a dwarf goat. 🐐

I visited for a Sustainable building workshop with Chris- it was wonderful! Chris, the owner, is a wonderful human with a wealth of knowledge he is willing to share. There were 6 other awesome folks a part of the workshop and he made us all feel right at home and a part of the community. I feel grateful to have made so many new friends and look forward to visiting again! The workshop was a lot of fun. We worked for a few hours a day, in which I learned many new skills such as working with power tools, staining, and pounding tires. In the afternoons we had informative lectures with plenty of space to pick Chris's brain on all our questions regarding off-grid building, etc. Evenings were full of fun things like hot springs, saunas, and live music! I highly recommend joining a workshop if y
