Young's Lodge on The Chariton

It's the best place in Northeast Missouri to have fun riding beautiful wooded trails and Sandy river beaches. The lodge and event center are just as beautiful in person as in the pictures. We will definitely be visiting many more times. Oh and the manager Kelly is super sweet and accommodating, and the owner Dave Young is a great guy.

My granddaughter and I spent a night at the lodge. We got lucky when we stayed on a Saturday night when nothing was going on and had the lodge to ourselves. We enjoyed our time playing in the game room and just relaxing. Kelly is so easy going and super sweet person on making arrangements on your stay there.

This was the venue for a friend's wedding, and we had a great time! Beautiful spot tucked back in the woods and hills of northern Missouri. Kelly is an excellent manager and was very helpful. Not too far away from Macon so if anything is needed it isn't far away!

If your traveling across Missouri on Hwy 36 and you don't mind getting off the beaten path, Youngs Lodge is well worth the drive, quiet, clean and comfortable and our host was the best. We'll be back for another visit soon can't wait
