Yorktown Inn and Suites

The rooms were clean. The staff was super helpful. I questioned staying here due to the past reviews but was very pleased with how clean the place was not to mention the breakfast great. It was very quiet and enjoyable in the room. The beds were very comfortable! I’ll definitely be back to visit again!

For the price we pay for the room for western days weekend is absolutely ridiculous. Can't watch TV. Very strong odor of mold. Looks like signs of bed bugs. Breakfast supposed to be til 9am the was no breakfast at 815a and they didn't put out more when atleast 4 other people walked in after us wanting breakfast. No napkins no forks. The staff is nice and helpful but the manager/ owners arta be ashamed of themselves I feel bad for the employees that have to work here. SORRY TO HAVE TO SAY BUT NOT WORTH STAYING HERE. Don't waste your money.

By far the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Multiple days with no water. The rooms were not ready on time and had other peoples belongings in them. The lights in the hallways and lobby are always off to “save on the light bill” every time my room was serviced the a/c was turned off to again save on the electrical bill. The rooms smelled musty and almost all of them had mold. The one thing it did have plenty of were roaches. Definitely recommend driving the 20-30 minutes to the next town that has better hotels to stay in.

This is truly embarrassing to have to post, but I hope it helps someone else avoid what we just went through. Our weekend has been absolutely traumatic—first, dealing with mold in one hotel, and now bed bugs in this one. We discovered a dead bed bug on our bedding, and later noticed a blood spot on the sheet—clear signs that at least one had been active. After already spending the night there, we were horrified at the possibility of bringing bugs home with us. The front desk lady was incredibly kind and understanding—she genuinely tried to help. Unfortunately, her manager was not. He refused to give us a full refund because we found the bed bug in the morning, not when we checked in (which is a ridiculous standard—bed bugs don’t follow check-in schedules). We had the most wonderful experience here because of Misty (I hope that's her name). She was so nice and helpful and really went above and beyond. The place was clean and quiet as well, and the beds were super comfy. Is it a fancy hotel? No. But for the price, I could not ask for anything more. I heard there is even breakfast, but given the previous nights adventures, we did not wake up in time for it. Im sure it was lovely.
