Yates family camping

Stayed here a couple months ago and forgot to leave a review. Brought the family to Charlotte for the Ren Faire and needed a place to stay with a wife, three kids, two dogs, and a cat. Try doing that in a hotel. Anyway, the place is very basic. No bath house, not sure if it has wifi since I just use my phone, no playground, no fire pit, really no facilities of any kind. Just a gravel pull thru, small grassy area, water, electric, dump station. There are some sites with sewer but they seem to all be occupied by long term tenants, who constitute the vast majority of the RVers there. That said, the place is absolutely NOT ghetto. Small family owned campground, clean, safe and spaces are plenty big enough for large or small campers. Owner is available , quick to respond and always positive. Price is reasonable and I would stay at this campground again , any time I am in the area.

Excellent location in Charlotte with expected RV amentities. Owner was an exceptionally nice guy that seemed to go out of his way to make the check-in and setup process easy and even hooked us up with a spot that had full hookups and didn't charge me extra. Definetly will be coming back!

We enjoyed our stay. Kevin was very helpful when we hooked up. There was a tree with some hummingbird feeders nearby, enjoyed watching them flying around. The campground was clean and rates were very reasonable. Definitely would stay here again on our travels.

Service is top notch - very helpful folks. The location is close to PNC Pavilion and Charlotte Motor Speedway plus loads of stores and shopping. The only reason for 4 stars of 5 for lodging is this is a campground and sites are well maintained and unassuming. It’s not the fanciest place but it is clean, quiet and other campers are fantastic.
