Wyndham Garden Washington DC Area

Great little place. Super friendly staff. Construction was going on during our visit but they too were very thoughtful and kind. Breakfast was served daily and my husband loved the waffles. The restaurant in the parking lot had some great Mexican food was pleasantly surprised by that. They have other food as well. Great place to stay after a full day in the city.

I have no complaints in this hotel but praises. Their rooms are big, beds are comfortable and they provide 4 pillows. What’s a plus is their food. They have good amount of selection that can really fill your stomach. I highly recommend Wyndham Garden Hotel to those who want to visit Washington DC. They also provide hotel transfer and that’s a plus service as not all hotels provide this.

Bad experience: I booked a room with two king beds for $120 through Booking.com, and when I arrived at the hotel, they told me I didn't have a reservation. I had to pay $150 for a room with two queen beds, and they refused to match the price. Later, when we entered the room, I found a cockroach in the bathroom sink. We informed the front desk person and told them we wouldn't be staying there and wanted a refund, and he simply said "okay!" We received no apology from the staff member, and he didn't seem surprised by what we found; he appeared annoyed and uninterested in the situation my family and I were experiencing. Very poor service, and the place looks old and dirty.

Positive: The excellent Customer Service from the night employee..She was very helpful and pleasant! Negative: The pillow cases wasn't clean the furniture in the room was ripped..just awful..we will NEVER stay there Again!!!

My family and I stayed here for 6 days. It was a terrific location (20 minutes from downtown DC), was quiet, free and safe parking, and amazingly friendly and helpful staff. This is not a glamorous hotel but it is clean and functional. Breakfast was perfect every morning! The hotel is in the process of an upgrade but it was in no way problematic. The only negative was the pool was closed and we were not notified ahead of time. We would definitely come and stay here again! Special thanks to the staff for their kindness. Great folks!!!
