Wyndham Garden State College

This was our third time staying here, as it became our favorite place to stay when visiting our Penn state student. This time, was unfortunately the last time, as it was for graduation. We had reserved 3 rooms for all of the family that attended the event to stay in. The staff was so awesome and attentive in making sure the rooms were ready so we could get changed for the small gatherings the day before graduation! Everyone was so friendly and welcoming! The rooms were all extremely clean and comfortable as well. Perfect place to rest our heads during a long and exciting weekend. The handicap room we had was also super accessible for our 87 year old guest, had all the features she needed to get shower and use the restroom! Positive: The location was great for our road trip overnight stay. The hotel is super clean as well as the rooms. The breakfast buffet is outstanding with both hot and cold items to satisfy everyone's needs. The staff was super friendly and helpful Negative: Nothing

This hotel has an excellent setting at a local golf course. The view is wonderful. It is easy to get to from the highway, but you feel more residential at the hotel The rooms and property are clean and well kept. The staff was helpful and friendly. The breakfast buffet in the morning was over the top with both hot and cold items.

Super clean, well-designed, modern hotel. Quiet. Beautiful surroundings on a golf course. Great service. Excellent, quality breakfast included with room...very rare that fresh eggs are served! Sign of quality. Nice little restaurant on-site with menu featuring local ingredients. Friendly staff. Fitness facility was very good and walk/jog outside around the golf course was convenient, 5K jog around the perimeter. Great hotel for the business traveler.

This was our first time staying at this hotel while spending the weekend with our son at Penn State. It is beautiful, clean, comfortable and has gorgeous views. We didn't get a chance to try the bar and restaurant, but would like to do so with future visits. This will definitely be our "go-to" hotel when we return to State College!
